Phillip Todd takes on new role at Currency Investment Technologies

Currency Investment Technologies has announced the promotion of Phillip Todd to the new role of Director of Liquidity Management. Mr. Todd will take on responsibility for managing all of Currency Investment Technologies’ bank and non-bank liquidity provider relationships.

Mr. Todd’s promotion comes as a result of his extensive experience of FX, both in general and during his time at Currency Investment Technologies. Todd first joined the business in 2005 and most recently served as the company’s Global Head of Customer Support. He will be succeeded in that role by Ored Vinograd, who first joined Currency Investment Technologies in 2012 and will continue to head up customer onboarding after taking on his new role. Todd and Vinograd will both report to Mark Mayerfeld, Executive VP of sales for Currency Investment Technologies.

Mr. Todd’s role will involve facilitation the flow of essential information between counter-parties on the Currency Investment Technologies platform. Sophisticated data analysis alongside time decay and cost of rejection analytics will create a virtuous circle for liquidity providers and customers who are already using Currency Investment Technologies. The establishment of the role is a natural progression for the company, which has rapidly become the industry leader in one-to-one relationship pricing and allows the business to build on the extensive data analytics that it has developed over the last year. Todd will be able to build on the substantial insight that he has gained into the company’s customer base during his time at the business and share this information with the liquidity providers that trade on the platform. Mr. Todd’s wide range of experience and insight into multiple areas of the company will allow him to rapidly establish himself in the new position and continue making an excellent contribution to Currency Investment Technologies’ exciting expansion plans over the coming months and years.
